One way to become successful in the field of business is to stay focus and determined in attaining the goal why the business is being established.

Almerol Dry Goods, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Alpi Almerol, situated at Brgy. Aurora, Taganaan, Surigao del Norte is a rags to riches kind of story. Their twist and turn journey has taught them lessons in business and in life. It was a “tabo-tabo” type of searching opportunity. Their luck relies on it, wherein they would transfer from one place to another just to display their products and offer it with reasonable prices. It was then very difficult for them to do the same routine while carrying and travelling also their two little children, Alpi John a 4 year old boy and April Jane a 1 and a half baby girl, under the heat of the sun.

Through their persistence and a strong faith to God, opportunity opened to them when one of their relatives offered their house which was considered to be a strategic location for them to build and start their small business. Now, their store offers variety of products --- RTW, apparels, hardware, clothing and others.

After 3 years of planning and hard work they now have expanded their business. They have now put up their grocery store managed by his brother Mr. Antonio Almerol.

Indeed, no matter how many adversities you encounter as long as you have the courage, determination, focus, motivation and perseverance you will succeed.
